Are you a veggie Kevvosa?

Well I havent touched meat in ages, but I'd consider myself more in a 'converting to veggie' phase. But that's what I intend to be.

When I move I want to get an allotment to keep my own chickens in as I've heard they're rather easy to look after

I only asked because I have always thought like that about animals and I have been vegetarian for a long time now. Good luck with converting, since the will is obviously there then I'm sure the reality won't be far behind.

I do eat dairy and eggs and we keep our own hens.

They are really easy to look after and fun to own too, and there is nothing like picking up your first fresh egg from under your own hen. It's great!

But we have to be very sure we remember to lock the pen up at night because if we don't they do a very good impersonation of Houdini and can escape from even the most secure looking pen!
