Home Office settles drugs case
« on: November 13, 2006, 03:27:10 pm »

The Home Office has reached an out of court settlement with a group of prisoners who sued for breach of human rights, after their imprisonment effectively forced them to come off drugs 'cold turkey'.

Now maybe I'm missing something, but isn't drug use illegal? And isn't prison supposed to a) punish those who break the law and b) prevent those who do from continuing to do it?

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
