Control officers are to be appointed to protect red squirrels

I heard the only place in the UK not to have been invaded by grey squirrels is the Isle of Wight.

Not sure if that's right. Brownsea Island in Poole Harbour certainly hasn't got any grey ones and we aim to keep it that way.
