I hope paulham is enjoying Tenerife.

I was in town this morning and the travel agents were full of people, but mainly young girls pushing pushchairs with a pastie in one hand, a mobile in the other and a staffordshire tied to the handle of the pushchair.

Why do these people have staffies? Is it true people get to look like their dogs?

Staffies get a lot of unfairly bad press but I still wouldn't like to look like one!

I think staffies are nice dogs but very boisterous. I just got the dictionary out for that word by the way. I was wanting to put boystrous but thought it didn't look right.

Talking of holidays has anyone been to Cyprus? I'm thinking of going there in July and wondered if anyone could recommend a nice bit. I need good snorkelling beaches for me and lots of archaeology etc to keep my husband happy!

In July it will be very hot. 40 - 45 degrees c.
