Lyons Maid were once part of the J Lyons empire. They made cakes, sweets and ices and also owned the world famous Lyons Tea/Coffee Shops with the famous 'Nippies' (waitresses).
Another little known fact is that they designed the first computer to be used in a business. It was called Leo (presumably a pun on the name Lyon).
