What do you all think of this? I have not managed to get through a whole show because the format, style and contents are so irritating to me.  The bit that makes me laugh is where the doctor stops people in the street to examine them and make snap diagnosis. They lift up their shirts for examination in the middle of the street! One woman even had a pregnancy scan on a trolley in the middle of the pavement.

Mad world.

I have only seen bits of it because it clashes with Emmerdale. For me the most exciting thing about it is that it's filmed about ten minutes from where I live.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I think the programme is pretty crap, and Nadia just giggles like a tw@t most of the time. I think Adrian Chiles is fab though - too good for this show. One of my reps at work is mates with him, and says he's the loveliest guy ever - and completely obsessed with West Brom!

I don't think this is much like Nationwide. I am old enough to remember Nationwide well and think this is much less formal and trivial in comparison. Also, the presensters of The One Show dress casually and the Nationwide presenters wore suits and smart clothes.

This show has finished now. I thought it was OK but I found several things about it irritating. Next week celebrity Masterchef starts and I believe it's on for three weeks.
