How do you solve a problem like Maria?
« on: August 27, 2006, 10:06:45 am »

Who watches this programme?  It's actually made Saturday nights worth staying in for!  However, there seemed to be a bit of a cock-up last night when on the second slot at 21:25 Andrew Llloyd (my face is inside out) Webber got the names of the two girls mixed up and initially the wrong girl went through.  Then without any explanation the girl who everyone thought had gone through to next week is kicked out.

A great programme BBC but don't assume your viwers are idiots!!!

I love that programme. Seriously though - with all the money ALW has, why hasn't he had some work done on removing his eye bags!!!

I also think they might as well end the competition now, and just let Connie go through.

Incidentially - there was an article in the Mirror today - about a woman who has already been signed up as the leading lady in the Sound of Music, so i don't know what that's all about. It's also said that Simon Shepherd (he of peak practice) is the leading guy. Pity - i thought the guy who was shown acting with the girls a couple of weeks ago was pretty hot

I think Abi will win.  I think they should all spend a week on Bounty island.  Siobhan could be my new PA.

That reminds me I must get some more Johnson's baby oil.

My money is on Connie too, but I quite like Aoife as well. Melize had to go this week - I think she's a decent enough singer, but her voice is far too deep. Maria is a soprano part.

The wrong girl didn't go through. What happened was ALW said he was going to save Aoife and send home Melize. Aoife was never actually in danger - I think it was Helena.
