Yes but surely you put them in separate bags? If you have a lot of shopping the heavy, household stuff is separated from cakes and fruit? I would have a bag for fruit and veg, with fruit on top and a bag for cakes then household stuff in another bag as long as I'm not using too many bags and they are not too heavy to carry.
