Article on the Kitkat fiasco

This article is all about the failure of the new Kitkat flavours
brought out over the last few years. It's a long read but quite
interesting:

""They were flooding the market," says Arshad Chaudhary, head buyer for
Bestway. "Initially, we were comfortable with one or two varieties, but
when they started coming out with another one every few months, it
became a joke."

I knew most of that Kev but it still makes interesting reading.

If they had changed texture as well as flavour in different varieties I wonder if there would have been any difference?

Why can't people make up their minds what they want? So many people moan about the lack of variation in chocolate bars, yet Nestle try a bit of variation and it's 'ooh, I can't cope, what do we do?' And as for that bloke they quoted on the strawberries and cream variety, he needs to get out more.

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I never realised that they had shaved the amount of chocolate on the 4
finger bars before, although it does seem a very 'Nestle' thing to
do.

Sometimes when I unwrap a kitkat the choc is very thin and I can see chunks of wafer that isn't covered.
