in scoltand it used to go by loca council office bit cos there got so much then next day ther jsut caved in

although I wronder how th epost bos works

There is no legal reason why a postman shouldn't deliver mail on a bank holiday monday, but traditionally the post office has closed on bank holidays.

apart form 1st MAY most POst office do what there like in scotland!

as there go by the 32 loacl council hoildays instead so My post office shut on 1st monday in april, may, june, octber
