« on: February 28, 2006, 11:09:26 am »

Does anyone remember the contents of a MacIntosh's Weekends box?

I can remember :

Lime Candy, Roasted Almonds, Orange Jelly, Lemon Slice, Montelimar, Noisette Cup, Peanut Cracknel, Country Fudge, Rum 'n' Raisin??

I can't remember but there is somebody on here who has a photo of them.  Couldn't find it on a quick search.

It would be great to see a photo - I couldn't find it on search either, that's the problem with naming a product after a popular period of time!

I had the photo. Not sure if it will still be available in the old posts. there are a lot of Weekend fans on the Forum, including me! I espcially loved the Lime Candy sweet!

If I get the chance, I will get my son to upload the pic again so watch this space!

I always said Weekend were my fave sweets ever. When I was young my mam always bought me a box at Easter. Oldspice once posted this pic for me. I am truly drooling.

Thank-you Minty for that picture!!  Fabulous!!

Still not sure what they all are but that picture's brought back lots of memories!

I agree Loulou, they were my faves too, my grandma used to buy me a box whenever she visited.

I wonder why they were discontinued?  There's nothing similar on the market now, I'm sure they'd be a success!

Where did Lime Candy disappear to? It was nice having another Weekend fan on the Forum.

I loved Weekend as a child. Especially the two chocolate nuts.
