Curry
« on: May 01, 2006, 09:20:40 pm »

Just got back from a weekend in London. Had a brilliant time. Visited my family, did some family history research, stayed at a nice hotel in the City and had a fanbtastic curry at a place in Brick Lane called Spice. If anyone is in east London and wants an authentic curry (as close at you can get in the UK anyway) go to Spice.

My husband swears Pete Docherty was sitting at a table near us but I wouldn't know him if I fell over him.

Old but spicey!

Sounds excellent Oldspice - glad you had a good weekend.  My son was at a two-day concert at Earls Court (staying overnight in London with his girlfriend and mates for the first time) and I was very relieved to get him back home again in one piece!

Sounds like you had a great time oldspice. I was thinking about going for a curry on Brick Lane one weekend as its a day out as well. Thanks for the recommendation.

I had a lovely curry last night for a friend's birthday. It was something called a Vegetable Thali which was small portions of about four dishes with rice and naan - and only £9! (Planet Spice in Walsall if any Midlanders out there are interested...)
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
