Cheap Easter eggs
« on: April 16, 2006, 07:36:42 pm »

I was in a Co-op and a Woolworths today. Not one egg!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not even full price!

I wonder if the retailers have a sale or return agreement with the manufacturers this year?

My local Sainsbury's was a good bet last year.  They were closed today though.

I think retailers haven't over-ordered as much in the last couple of years. I think we'll be better off trying the pound shops or places like Home Bargains to get cheap eggs.

I was in Woolies on Saturday and there were no eggs either. Where the eggs used to be was full of gardening stuff and patio furniture!

I havent seen any either. On Good Friday all they had left were boring old Cadbury eggs. I didnt even manage to get the fruit and nut shell one I wanted.

I do too and the one I had actually had the button INSIDE the egg, so it separated into two proper halves instead of exploding all over the room!
