For Damilola or Steven Lawrence. Decent young men/boys, struck down in senseless violence.

Damilola Taylor's injuries were consistent with him having cut himself on broken glass - the very theory the defence put forward in the original case. But hey, who cares about actually looking at the evidence when we can have a rant about the justice system eh?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

It's possible.  Certainly the police are finding it hard to pin it on anyone

Well I have looked at the evidence. All of it. I don't believe he fell on broken glass.

I do not believe justice has been done for Stephen Lawrence.

Hopefully the courts will get things right for Anthony Walker when his killers are sentenced next month.

The problem remains that criminals rarely consider the consequences when they carry out their deeds.  That's one of the 'qualities' that makes them criminals.  If you went to stab someone or steal a car, as well as thinking it's wrong, you'd be scared of getting sent down etc.  Criminals don't think like this.

Too many criminals re offend. I think some people like prison, being in the warm with regular meals, a gym and a tv and no bills  is probably better than some peoples home lifes.

That's very true, especially for young offenders. I knew a boy who continually committed serious crimes so that he could go to a young offenders' institute where he was fed regularly, given education and medical care and 'nurtured' in a way he had never been at home. It's very sad. oldspice38817.3336689815
