I've never actually covered Maritime Law, did you like it? I've loads of coursework to do over Easter, really should get stuck into instead of messing about on the internet!

I loved studying law. Maritime I preferred to Admiralty although my course covered both of these as well as some Sale and Carriage of Goods. One of my coursemates went on to do an LLM but I never wanted to be a lawyer.

Nikkers are you going to be a lawyer?

yes I'm going to the Birmingham College of Law in September to do the LPC. I'm really looking forward to it but nervous too. The only thing that's making me apprehensive is the cost of the course, its nearly £9k!

Cherryripe, I have to take out a £25k loan, eek! Might be able to get my fees paid back if I get a good training contract though.

Will do Smurfboy! Looking at houses at Selly Oak, what do you think of that area?

Selly Oak isn't bad at all Nikkers. Lots of students live there as it is very close to Birmingham uni. Transport links to the city centre are really good too.

That's good. With all my coursework I don't realistically think I could get to see them until about June, but they do sound promising. I'm quite excited about it, my friend lived in Birmingham for a few years and he loved it.
