Wham! split up - bad.

Neighbours began - good.

I was seven and for some reason didn't get a party - bad.

Labyrinth came out - good.

In the summer of 1986 I had my first holiday. I went to stay at my aunt's house near London. It was great fun, did all the tourist things.

1986 a good year

Passed my driving test - good

Got a job with a company car - good

Wham spit up, tragic I know, but I went to Wham the final concert - good

My parents moved to Spain - not that good (they moved back home about 10 years later - worse!)

I was still young enough to get away with wearing white stillettos - good (at the time)

However, I did have a nagging feeling that something in my life was missing that year... now I know it was Smurfys birthday party!
