You are right lorri. I think Deano is going to be a cocky little git. I'm pleased alfie has left cos them two together would do my head in.

I thought he was too over the top, very 'gor blimey guvnor' and as you say, an obvious young Alfie character. And why has he hunted down the ex-wife of his great uncle? It's so obvious the producers just wanted to use the name Wicks.

I agree.  I think they've done the 'cheeky chappy' bit to death and Deano is absolutely no substitute for Dennis!

I don't watch EastEnders much but that Shane Ritchie is definitely shagable and good to look at. All the other men in the show are brainless, ugly mingers.

OK it's name dropping times folks - my husband knew Shane quite well when he was just beginning his comedy act and it was him that introduced him to his future wife - Colleen Nolan.  Not that Shane would thank him for it as it didn't last very long!  I have photos of Shane with a mullet and flares, looking quite podgy and not at all shaggable!

Phil Daniels has already been cast in the role! I'm just waiting for him to say to Pat 'you should cut down on your porklife, get some exercise'!

And another thing - Pat and Brian Wicks split up before Deano was even born. How does he even know about her?

Anything can happen in soapland!  Probably something to do with those family photos and the pancakes or whatever it was.
