Having spent the afternoon building a snowman, she has tonight gone out on the town with her friends! Talk about being between two worlds!

The snow came down really heavy this afternoon and we had a bit of a blizzard , so much that the Newcastle football match was called off. The gritters are out on the roads tonight.

Mmmm...interesting.  Has she made it a nose out of a carrot and given it little button eyes? Awwwwww!

Finally had some snow tonight here in sunny southampton - very light dusting though and has already started thawing

As far as snowmen etc. are concerned I want there to be enough snow so I can recreate the best scenes from Calvin and Hobbes

Been to Durham tonight and they have more snow than anyone. The roads are very dangerous.

We have more snow here today. It's so cold outside my dog refuses to go for a walk.

It snowed round my way for between 7 and 15 minutes and it didn't settle. Which is good.

This morning I persuaded my lazy 14 year old to go for a walk along the clifftop into town with me as it was nice and sunny.  We spent about 20 minutes in the shopping centre, then came out to find it had gone almost dark plus torrential rain.  We've just arrived home soaked to the skin (didn't even wear coats) and now he's not speaking to me!  Everything we bought is soaking wet too.

All the snow has gone away. The rain took it in the night.
