Wish me luck everyone, I am re-starting my driving lessons tonight.

If you live in the Welling, Bexleyheath and Belvedere areas, please stay off the roads

Good Luck Choccy!  My son is also starting driving lessons, so stay off the roads in Dorset too!

I have failed my test 3 times so far, so I am hoping 2006 will be my year!

Good luck with your driving choc chic.... it's great to pass your test... life can be so much easier when you can drive, that is of course if you have a car and are able to deal with any mechanical problems... or know some one who can deal with mechanical problems!!!

Thanks everyone, I have had 2 lessons so far and they have gone really well. I can reverse round corners ok now and I have got the hang of the reverse park. Another lesson tonight, I hope I have remembered!

You're doing well Choccy - I know plenty of people who've been driving for years who still can't reverse park!  (No, I'm not one of them)

My mum is though!

I was closest to passing on my second attempt but I had a blonde moment and went into the kerb!

Practice is the key CC, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it.

I have learnt that I need to keep the kerb in my wing mirror and I need to keep moving the wheel to keep it in sight. I still have a month or so to practice. I should be perfect for my test! And the fact that my theory runs out in March!

2 years. I didn't realise this until Jan when my instructor asked. I thought it was 10 years! Doh!

Two years ago there wasn't the hazard perception bit, was there?
