I know it's not chocolate but... I just bought a box cos it was half price in Tesco.

The verdict is -

As soon as you put milk on it turns to mush and then the texture gives you this feeling in the back of your throat like you are going to gag Birds will be getting well fed this week!

I have bought some mini oatibix but not tried them yet. I will finish my box of rice krispies first.

The ones with apple and raisins are quite nice. I know what you mean about leaving them to go soggy though. Just eat quickly!

I completely disagree. I have just finished a box of Oatibix minis and thought they were delicious. Like Weetabix minis, they are slightly sweet due to a slight glistening coating. At first they are crispy in milk, then go soft in the middle, and finally soft on the outside too. They have a distinctive oaty flavour though, which distinguishes them from the Weetabix products. I love mine with Bran Flakes or Crunchy Bran or Shreddies or something, and a bit of muesli. Yum! You should all give them a go!

And the verdict was.....ok.  Didn't taste much different from ordinary Weetabix to me.

I bought a box of Oatibix for the kids to try and they barely got past the first mouthful. My eldest son said they tasted 'rank'.

I tried a couple however and thought they tasted identical to Weetabix, just with a mushier texture. Pretty nice if you like that sort of thing. I suspect they would be blimmin' gorgeous hot so i'm going to nuke a couple tomorrow morning.
