Two 14 year old girls were killed by a train on a level crossing last night.  Made me cry when I heard it.  Just before Christmas.

Perhaps we can all say a prayer for them and their families.  If you're not religious then spare a thought.

This story sent shivers of horror down my spine as I have a train pobia. It appears they ignored warning lights and a loud horn telling them a train was approaching because they thought it applied to the stationary train that they were running to catch which was standing at the opposite platform .

Of course i feel deeply for them and their families. What a truly horrific thing to have happened. I also feel very sorry for the train driver and those who had to deal with the accident afterwards.

Old but spicey!

Trains are very loud. Warning lights and klaxons were sounding. I find it hard to believe that someone did not notice a train coming. Very scary. I do feel terribly for the parents of the girls - i know how i would feel if i lost my little girl
