I'm still stuck in oh-so-sunny Stoke, but am involved in a lot of uni things at the moment. But, I usually do browse through the posts when I get the chance!

I have yet to try some of the new Kit-Kat editions - the seville orange, the blood orange, and the caramel ones. I've seen a caramel aero, however it didn't really strike my fancy at the moment. I have tried a plain terry's chocolate orange bar and thought it was yummy - then again, I am a big dark chocolate fan! I plan on trying one of those Cadbury's muffins or flapjacks someday as well, though I think I'll have to find someone to help me eat one of those calorific treats. Shouldn't be too hard to get someone to enjoy some chocolate with me, I'd imagine.

Anyway, glad you thought about and/or missed me! I'll probably be posting a bit more when I get the chance. Oh, and a special note for all those who go to Sweets from Heaven - if you see the special pumpkin shaped Reeses cups, you should definately get one! A lot more of the peanut butter filling than the normal ones! Yumm! Happy Halloween!

Hello. I don't know where Bobble is. Scampycat got married and probably also has better things to do.

I have tried a Reeses "Pumpkin" thing - it was smashing...

Not eating many sweets at the moment, TRYING to be good...

So am I! It's wonderful to spot all these new bars and have no driving urge to try them all.

And today I would like to announce - ta-ra! - the beginning of my determined attempt to lose weight, having realised I weigh nearly 3 stone more than I used to - admittedly that was at age 20 and very skinny but still.....  So from now until at least Christmas, I shall read and talk about chocolate but try not to eat any.  Keep me encouraged please Oldspice!

It is posting and reading about chocolate that keeps me sane! I must admit, when I first started on this healthy eating plan the weather was better. As soon as it starts to get chilly, I want to eat more. When I am at work it is easy because I'm too busy to eat - but I booked the whole week off this week because we are having a new floor fitted (and it's half term) so I am at home and dying to nibble.

Goldencup - once you get out of the habit of expecting chocolate and sweet things everyday it is quite easy. When you do actually nibble something sweet it seems very sweet indeed and you don't want to eat it at all. Apples and yoghurt help me keep going.

Yes, I will continue to post - you won't get rid of me that easily!  I am munching on an apple and pretending it's chocolate, which isn't working very well.  Thanks for the advice Oldspice - I shall do my best!
