Yes I know it has been said to death, but take a look at this:

Why is it on a CURRENT list?

I used to LOVE Texan bars! Isn't it funny that it can take years and years for you to realise that a bar you are fond of is no more? A few months ago I was reading about how much Loulou misses Cabana bars and then I thought - yes, I remember those and I miss them too - but I had forgotton they existed!

I mourn the passing of Cabana, as do many on the forum.  It is a legend among chocolate bars.

I miss Cabana, Texan and Five Centres. Not too bothered about anything else but I wouldn't say no to the return of a milk tray bar.

Five Centres is the one I miss most

I can't believe it's actually gonna happen, after 20 years I will be able to once again buy a Texan Bar! No longer do I just have to drone on about them during nostalgia conversations. August 22nd I'm informed, for a limited period of 6 weeks, might have to buy a box and store them...right, note to self - must make enough room in the freezer later...

Any more info will be gratefully received. Now who remembers Nutty Bars? Clear brown wrapper, fudge wrapped in caramel and coated in peanuts...mmmmm

Texan Bars are now available at Britishcandy.com Please send me a chocolatereview 'Private Message' if you would like to buy a full box (36 in a box)  and i'll reply with ordering details as we dont intend on selling them by the box on the website.

I've eaten 6 Texan bars already and we've only had them here 3 or 4 days
