Lou, I have tried these and they are nothing special. They are flat and quite thin with a filling that tastes like coconut ice. The cherry bits are big but have no taste! The filling is deep red like a Raspberry Ruffle but I couldnt taste the cherry at all. if you like coconut you'll like them but the cherry bit is not very cherry!
Old but spicey!

ok thanks oldspice. I see cybercandy had them for £1.29 each. Too expensive. Although I might pay £5 for a real Cabana

Have you tried the Cherry Ripe Chocettes? They are little balls of cherry ripe, about the size of aero bubbles. There were so many in a bag that I could only eat half a bag at a time

I dont remember cherry ripes, what were they like?

I remember something like a dark bounty with a sweet red layer, I have no idea what it was!

Britishcandy, they are a current Cadbury product but only made for the Australian market. They are dark chocolate with a cherry flavoured coconut centre. Very nice IMHO but I know oldspice doesn't think much of them

Cherry Ripes are made by Cadbury's in the UK but not generally sold and distributed here. They are sold in Australia but some specialist shops like Cybercandy sell them (at an inflated price of course).

They are quite thin and flat, have a darkish chocolate coating with a deep red coconut filling and containing cherries.

The bar you remember could have been a Cherry  Ripe but if you ate it regularly it is more likely to have been a Raspberry Ruffle.

Cadbury Cabana had a milk chocolate coating with a caramel layer and a deep coconut layer containing cherries. The filling was white though and the bar, although having a flat base, was dome-shaped to accomodate the abundant filling.
