Nestle cereals go whole grain

From Monday, all of the breakfast cereals produced by Swiss food giant Nestle in the UK will be made with whole grains, the company has announced.

Recent studies show that as many as 90 per cent of British people are not eating the recommended levels of three portions of whole grain substances per day, while a further 25 per cent are not eating any at all.

It is all the rubbish that multi-nationals sell in attractive packaging that stops the sale of "good" foods.

Hmm...

I see your point, but people do have choices. No one holds a gun to their head and forces them to buy certain foods because of the colour of the box.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to buy some Bernand Matthews Fairy Princess Turkey Slices - I'm vegetarian, but they're so pretty!

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I think this is a very good idea. I have bran flakes or sultana bran
for breakfast pretty much every morning. But I know that not every one
does.

I can see how it would be useful, for example for parents buying for their small kids, to buy their 'usual' cereal and know it is better for them than it was before Nestle went whole grain.

But for me it's scots porridge oats every time
