I remember a while ago someone mentioned Tiffin? Was it oldspice? I found a bar in my local newsagents last week and it is gorgeous. It is from Ireland I believe.

I think it's chocolate, raisin and biscuit. I think it was made by Cadburys. I imagine it's a bit like the old Country Style bar that was around in the 1970s.

Old but spicey!

Lovely they were too.

Britain gets that Old Jamaica instead, now. Filled with nasty cheap alcoholic flavouring.

Still, I had Asda's choc refrigerator squares today. Tiny little squares of choc, biscuit, raisin  and cherry.

Very nice. 7/10

Yes its cadbury's choc with raisin and biscuit. It was really nice. It was a pleasent surprise when I had my first square as I imagined it to be raisin and nut!

I haven't seen Old Jamaica for a long time!

I think they are pretty rare. On the back it says made in Ireland. I am not sure why the newsagents I went to had them but i'm not complaining. It was my first bar and I will be said if it is my last!

They also had Terry's Wafer. I think thats how wafer was spelt on the packet. Could have been Waifer? They are pretty rare as well.

The Tiffin being made in Ireland could mean anything. Cadbury products
seem to be made everywhere these days, if you look on them atthe back
of wrapper. My friend said that Dream with strawberries (I think) was
made in France or something. Plus a few of their other bars, the new
ones and normal ones are made in different places.

If you go cadbury.ie they have Tiffin listed as one of their products on sale in Ireland. Along with Golden Crisp. I have also seen this in a newsagents but I didnt buy it. Wish I had of done now!
