Barry Vs The Romulan

Nice to see the US election ended with a definite outcome (not like us lot.) But did the best man win? (aka. the lesser of two evils.) In my opinion I think so. Ish.  ::)

I am extremely pleased and relieved by the outcome. The best man certainly won in my opinion.

Some of my students were being assessed in discussion skills last week and one of the topics was 'should the voting age be lowered to 16?'. I was interested to discover that in several discussion groups, students were much more interested in the American election and its outcomes than they were in their own political democracy!

Can't wait for the next general election here... wont be wasting my vote on some stupid 'Legalise Pink Toffee Bananas Party' (or whatever) that year.
