Werther's chocolate fudge
« on: October 06, 2012, 07:58:17 pm »
Not sure how new these are but saw them in Morrison's today. In a bag that looks like all the other Werther's products. They are supposed to be creamy Werther's fudge covered in chocolate. Hmm. Well, to me they were more like a soft, chewy toffee. Not fudgy at all. Chocolate is Ok but nothing special. I probably won't bother buying them again.

Bother they sound disappointing.  I've never understood why we don't get the coffee ones in this country - they've been available abroad for years.

We don't get anything exciting do we? I mean, why oh why can't we have  Cadbury's Cherry Ripe ? They have had them in Australia for over 50 years! And why do they have Tiffin in Ireland but we can't have it here??

And, do you know, in New Zealand and some parts of Australia, you can buy Spearmint Milk and Cherry Milk?? How fantastic do they sound? Meanwhile, all we get is banana, chocolate and strawberry - whatever brand, whatever shop - banana, chocolate and stawberry, ad infinitum. (Well, to he honest, I did see a white chocolate variety in Morrisons).

Well, that's my grumpy old woman rant over!

You can still get Golden Crisp in Ireland too - although a shop near me imports both varieties :P
