Female athlete who could be a man

So Caster Semenya has to undergo lengthy gender verification tests because she doesn't conform to the stereotypical notions of femininity.  Wasn't it insensitive to air this in public?  Couldn't the IAAF have just turned a blind eye and conducted the tests in private while everyone else just talked among themselves?
So what of the results?
There seems to be three possible outcomes.
1.  She is a very masculine woman and will be allowed to keep her gold medal.
2.  She is actually a he and will be stripped of her/his medal for cheating.
3.  She has andogen insensitivity syndrome, also known as intersex.  In this instance, I'm not sure what the IAAF would do then as Caster has probably entered as a woman in all good faith, even though legally she could be declared male.

For her sake and for the sake of not stereo-typing people I hope result 1 is declared.

It's all very well saying keep these things private, but it's incredibly difficult to actually do it.

I reckon she's a cock in a frock.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
