new Ebay rule

What do you think of eBid.net?

I think it looks interesting, but I'd be interested in any thoughts experiences anyone else may have.

It sounds good to me smurfy, I hope others have sent letters like that. Maybe they'll wake up before it's too late not to spoil eBay completely.

But I must admit I don't hold out much hope really.

I thought I'd resurrect this because eBay have now introduced some even dafter rules - the worst being that sellers are now obliged to offer a free postage option to UK buyers for media items (DVDs, CDs etc.) eBay claim they're losing customers because postage costs put people off shopping, but don't they realise how many of their sellers this will put off from selling? They're acting like they're trying to compete with Amazon or Play, which is ridiculous; surely most people go to eBay to find obscure items you can only get second-hand. And free postage is fine if you're a huge company, but if you're just an individual who wants to turn some old CDs into extra cash, how can you afford to use eBay?

I was reconsidering my decision to give up on eBay selling, but now I'm sticking with it. At least my employers will be happy - eBay's ridiculous anti-seller rulings are the best advertising Amazon Marketplace could ever have.

The thing i hate about ebay is how someone will pay using paypal then as soon as they say they have not received they get an instant refund. Lying scamming ba**tards.

Yes, that's what I thought.  I may be into Metal but I've never been a big Priest fan.

I think some people get carried away with the bidding and the excitement of it and they end up spending more than they wanted.

Yes, well I've probably done that in my time.
