I thought she was quite funny when she called Cheryl Tweedy an ugly bitch and Cheryl called Lily a chick with a dick.
A power-crazy bitch who lives in a fantasy world

Everything I Do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams please.

Which reminds me of a funny story where a bride apparently wanted this music to walk up the aisle to but asked for the 'Robin Hood theme'.  As she walked in, the musicians struck up with 'Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Riding Through the Glen.'

Does anyone remember a series called 'Roger Roger'? One of the lead characters died in that and his friend asked for 'The theme from the Bodyguard' at the funeral because it was his and his wife's song. The undertaker misunderstood and played the theme from Minder! :D

'I wanted Whitterney Houston, and you gave me Dennis bloody Waterman!'

I used to adore that programme. Every now and then my husband and I say how much we wished Roger Roger was still on. I can still see the episode where a treasured dog on a lead got left behind as its carer went up in a lift still holding on to the lead. It's one of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV.

Incidently Smurfy, I've been dying to ask you what you though of the Norris/Mary development in Corrie. Did you see the episode where she seduced him in the camper? It was so funny - espcially when she was getting very fresh with him and a few minutes later the camera scanned the outside of the camper and it was rocking from side to side. Then we found out what was going on inside - Mary was dancing!

Roger Roger started in around 1998 I think. It ran on and off for about four years, but there were always long gaps between each series. It was written by John Sullivan who wrote Only Fools and Horses.

I nearly wet myself at Mary trying to seduce Norris to the sounds of Sheena Easton. But my favourite episode recently has to be the unveiling of naked Dev. Did you see when Michelle pinched his bum and he thought it was Blanche? Her reply killed me. 'You think it was me? With my arthritis I can barely peel a satsuma!'

LOL! I missed the naked Dev one unfortunately. Blanche is brilliant. I wish they'd publish a book of Blanche's one liners in time for Christmas. It would make a killing!

In the same episode she invited herself along for a pizza with Peter and Michelle, because she likes the salad bar. She said 'I've a very amusing anecode re: beetroot', but sadly we never got to hear it.
