X-Factor...
« on: March 09, 2009, 02:10:53 pm »
Anyone unfortunate enough to have one of those X-Factor keyboards?

Has anyone noticed how you only need to fart near one and the thing switches on? Press the "Off" button, the thing turns on to turn itself off!

Well, sunshine is now usung it as a trampoline, thank <insert deity of choice>. I will be glad when he finally breaks the bloody thing.

Anyone here with a child whining for one of these keyboards, bewarned, your patience will be put under great duress as well testing its endurance.

I take it this is a musical keyboard?  Why didn't you get the kids a Korg and a copy of Pro Tools?

Well my son's only 2 years old.

The issue I have with the effing thing is that you touch anything, even put it too close to a mains cable and that sets the damn thing off.

This is how blood stupid the thing is, if you pres the off switch when the thing is switched off, it turns on, plays the on ditty then the off ditty and then switches off!

Like I said, I have a very durable patient when it comes to some things, others I spontaniously explode.

This thing is pushing its luck.

Lucky for him he already has access to a full studio, so by the time he's 5 we hope to have him churning our No1's. I won't do the No2's joke...

I prefer constructional toys that he spends hours playing with, that bloody noise box thing he tends to beat the crap out of it despite him loving music.
