Santa trip cancelled because of too much snow
« on: December 21, 2008, 12:22:22 pm »
Loads of kids were disappointed yesterday when their trip to Finnish Lapland was cancelled owing to... too much snow.  The company who organised the trip cited health and safety reasons, saying, 'There is too much snow in northern Finland for us too operate within safe working limits.'  The poor little children must have been so disappointed, I can see their faces now - I want to cry.

Tarquin and Ophelia were said to "be beside themselves".

If it is, I'm wrong too.

I think it is good for kids to suffer disappointment at a young age. It prepares them for the future.
