Thorntons, Britain's number one confectionery Superbrand, has created an irresistible treat for discerning chocolate connoisseurs. In a bid to tempt chocolate lovers over to the dark side, a 70% Dark Collection has been specially created for those with a more sophisticated taste.
Oh well looks as though no one on here will be having any. ;)

he flavours that accelerate in strength but not bitterness, contain fresh woody notes with a nutty roundness from the cocoa butter and a subtle background note of natural vanilla.

Among the mouth-watering nine varieties, the indulgent Dark Collection includes six amazing new chocolates such as Framboise Ganache, a delicious combination of raspberries, raspberry liqueur and double cream ganache, Dark Champagne Truffle, a rich and indulgent truffle made with fresh cream and premium French champagne and Café Noir, the ultimate coffee truffle, intense rich and dark, all covered in irresistible 70% rich dark chocolate.

Thorntons chocolatier, Jayne Ranby-Ashton, describes the delicate use of flavours, “We selected the centres to highlight and bring out the different notes of the dark chocolate, such as delicate vanilla to highlight the vanilla notes in our Vanilla Velvet as well as offering perfect flavour combinations such as dark chocolate intensity with hidden rich fruitiness which reveals itself when you bite into our Framboise Ganache”.

As if the 70% Dark Collection wasn’t enough, Thorntons famous chocolate collections now include new Mint Collection while the Premium Collection and Classic Collection have been updated to be better than ever. The only difficulty is deciding which one to buy!

Hmm I might put my Thorntons voucher towards a box of these.
