many places are holing open door events where you can get into many buildings, my local area was last sunday:

and i visited the

where we got a tour of the whole place, and cells, courtroom, and we got to try on wigs, robs, handcarf ( a lady of 80 want to try them on baldy ! )   There a lot o behide the wall stuff goes on!

My local theater:

very nice, it was a bingo hall for 40 years ( there cheap so originals fitting are all there! )

Crem:

there showed how there make the ashes, did you know ANYONE can make an appointment and view/wacth any cremation take place for start to finished

623 when you were at the crem did you see an actual cremation?
