Toffee Buttons
« on: September 30, 2004, 07:20:14 pm »

Does anyone out there remember Cadburys Toffee Buttons which made a brief appearance at the end of the 1960s? They were really delicious.

Also missed from that time are delicious shortcake biscuit bars with raisins in them and they came in milk or plain varieties.

Were they just toffee or some sort of Caramac type affair? Sound good either way.

Sorry Oldspice, don't remember those.  Galaxy Counters of course - now that's a different matter.  And they quite definitely did have numbers on them at one time, something I've got into heated disputes about with friends!

Yes, you are right, Galaxy Counters had numbers on them. I used to buy them for my neice and nephews who are now aged 37, 34 & 32!!

The Toffee Buttons were just like cadburys Buttons but with toffee inside. They were chewy.
