Radio five reported yesterday that Michael Mansfield has been urged not call for Prince Philip and the Queen to give evidence at the inquest.  It's highly unlikely that Prince Philip would be called to the bar, but any journalist worth their salt should know that the Monarch cannot be forced to give evidence.

But could she be 'invited' to give evidence?

Yes, but she wouldn't in this case, I bet.
