New Aussie soap
« on: December 02, 2007, 12:08:40 am »
The BBC has commissioned a new daytime Australian soap after losing the long-running show Neighbours in a bidding war with Five.

Out of the Blue will be set in the Sydney resort of Manly and opens with a group of friends in their 30s returning to their hometown for a reunion.

Will you be watching smurfy? Maybe you could start a forum for it.

I don't think I'll bother watching it. I still tape Neighbours because of the forum, but I can't be bothered to start watching something I'll never be in to see.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Is it called Out of the Blue because of all the long-lost relatives and illegitimate children that turn up in Aussie soaps all the time?
Old but spicey!

I hadn't heard about this. How far behind the times am I, I wonder?

Neighbours on channel five? But i is almost an institution on the BBC. It is going to be very strange to have to put five on instead.

Hmmm.
