Grrrrrrrrr!
« on: October 14, 2007, 09:09:07 pm »
To fill in a few minutes while waiting for my ebay item to end, I browsed our old 'favourite' forum - Bring It Back, for the first time in many months.  And what did I find?  This, in the 'What Do You Miss' thread:

Mackintosh's Toffee Cup.  Not the bigger bars that you could split into individual chunks (although they were very nice), but the smaller bars shaped like a dogs bone and wrapped in red coloured silver paper. The toffee in those was very soft and runny and the chocolate was quite thin. Altogether a scrummy 4d worth of yumminess.

Toffee Cup?  TOFFEE CUP?????

Be glad that either your faculties are intact and you have better recall or that you are too young to remember its original name.

I am surprised someone on the site did not pick that poster up on their lack of a possessive apostrophe for 'dog's bone'.  They must be slacking!

Tell Panda the 'professor' - if you get a bollocking for creating a thread about something last discussed three years ago, using the wrong product name should surely lead to excommunication!
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
