A new toy has been invented for 3 - 6 years olds, enabling them to pedal away on an exercise bike while staring at a computer-generated image of a moving road on the TV screen.

Is this an excellent way to ensure our obese kids get some exercise or just another excuse for lazy parents not to bother to take them to the park?

We had a similar thing at Boys Stuff about four years back. Personally I think it would be a shame for a toy like this to replace playing outside for kids, but I suppose if it helps kids get exercise it's a good thing.

also it becasue of the pedo but there no more of a troubel now as there were back in the 60's
