So have you heard the advert where the Brummie salesman tells you to have the chip in your windscreen repaired before it turns into a crack and you have to have the whole windscreen replaced?

Well last Sunday I got a chip in my windscreen, so when I got home I called the company in said advert to come and repair the chip. The earliest they could do was today (Wednesday.) Well, whilst repairing the chip (it is done with resin under pressure) the windscreen cracked and now I have to make another appointment to have a whole new windscreen fitted.

i have an enormous crack in my windscreen. it's been there for months and it's getting bigger.

623 I have to pay my 60 quid excess for a new windscreen. At least the chip happened whilst I was out driving and enjoying myself and it wasn't some vandal or kid's football that caused it.

well the crack in my windscreen is now the least of my worries... on my way to bristol auirport last night, i got flashed by 2 speed cameras within minutes of each other. BUGGER! and i'm almost positive i wasn't even speeding!
