I don't understand how a search robot can write a reply?

This place is wierd.

It's gonna take some getting used to.

It just posted one of my posts about 8 times, a new one for every word of the last line I typed.

Very bizarre.

On the up side I got an edit and a delete button so I could take care of it, but even so.  Very strange.

Search robots regularly 'view' forums. Nothing odd about it.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I guess the 'bot visited the Post Reply link from the topic in question. That would trigger the forum system to believe a reply was being written even though the bot wasn't capable of submitting the form.
It could take a week or two for the 'bots to get my message about not indexing the forum.

Do search robots kick in if someone Googles a word such as 'chocolate' or 'Aero' or are they commercially linked to find opportunities for advertisers?

Old but spicey!
