Thankyou very much for the smiley central info. SmileyCentral.com

I have downloaded it and it looks wonderful.

I know it probably seems a strange thing to get excited about but I love these little things, they're wonderful.

A word of warning - when I downloaded the smiley central thing I got a lot of spyware on my PC so had to remove it in the end. But Ive copied some links for some of the smileys to use in posts.

They are great aren't they Loulou?

Thankyou very much for the warning Kevvosa, I had trouble last summer with a virus completely fritzing my computer, I tried slapping it back into conciousness but I couldn't do it. It was really sick and needed the computer doctor and emergency surgery.

It cost me an absolute fortune so I'll be extra careful as I don't want that to happen again.

As long as you keep using some sort of antivirus or spyware terminator you should be fine.

That's really good to hear Loulou. Thanks.

Kevvosa, I was so paranoid when I took my computer to be fixed I had absolutely everything added to it that the repair man knew of! Addware tracers, spy bot, firewalls to the ends of the earth and back. A lot of them automatically update themselves everytime a new version comes out.

Obviously I paid extra for all the bells and whistles but I thought better add them and be safe than pay another fortune to fix things again later.

It does sometimes protect me unnecessarily, ie no PM's and no chat room on this site either, but they are small inconveniences compared to being without my computer.

Last time it was sick it was down for almost a month, I was chewing on my own arm by the time I got it back.Insane

Not that I would want you to think I am addicted in any way.

I know how you feel as I'd be much more lost without my PC than I would without a TV.

I had exactly the same same problem and had to remove it.  But I didn't have good anti spyware software then and I have now, so I may try again.
