How can it be milder when snow has fallen? I thought it snowed because of freezing temperatures.

Yes, it becasue the sky is clear and clodness is in th eatmosmphare meaning that in gernal it is less cold

I wouldn't know - it's been many years since I've seen snow on the ground.

Apparently this December is the warmest on record and there's going to be a lot of rain...snow is expected in January.

Ooh hope it snow's for my Son's birthday then I can tell him the Birthday fairies brought it for him and I won't have to buy him any presents cos the snow will be his present !!!!
