What about this for a 'please let the ground open up and swallow me' moment. A friend of mine is in a relationship with a Fillipino, and another of our mutual friends privately refers to them as Mr Dudley and Ting-Tong, as in the Little Britain characters (a bit cruel but funny). Last week we were at a party at their house and he left his phone behind. To find it for him the next day, they rang it. Unfortunately, he'd used their nicknames in the phone entry - so when they picked the phone up, the display said 'Mr Dudley and Ting-Tong calling'... 
He's not holding his breath for another invite.
