Catholics no longer in Limbo
« on: October 06, 2006, 04:37:26 pm »

The Pope is set to announce Limbo - a state between heaven and hell to which the souls of unbaptised children are banished - does not exist.

Great. Now all we need is for him to declare homosexuality is not a sin, allow priests to marry, ordain women and do something to help the millions dying of AIDS in Africa because they've been taught contraception is against God, and the Catholic church might almost become relevant to the 20th Century, if not quite the 21st.

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

The church is a shambles and guilty of many crimes.

What I find astonishing is that Pope has to tell Catholics that it doesn't exist! They are not allowed to work it out for themselves.

It is totally wicked to have people believe that unbaptised dead babies do not rest in peace but lurk somewhere waiting for judgement day.

Shame on the church.

Old but spicey!
