White Pudding
« on: September 19, 2006, 02:33:01 am »

Has anyone tried it, it's like black pudding without the blood.

There is an Irish breakfast bar near mine, I get the Ulster Fry, which contains 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, white pudding, beans, toast, soda bread and potato bread.

I hate black pudding so I think I will hate white pudding too!

I'm surprised the PC lot haven't banned the name of it yet!

I don't know how best to describe it. It's sort of salty.

It's bread made with baking soda instead of yeast.

I love white pudding.  It's best on the Ooter Hebrides.

maybe it all depends on where and who makes it..and if it's sliced or left in a pudding style..

It does contain some oats, it tastes like sausage and I like it sliced.

Soda bread is worth trying.  You can get white soda farls from Tesco.
