Have these been mentioned before?  We had a present of them at work and all gave them 10/10

"Paradise in a box. Dark, milk and white chocolates, each melting mouthful an exotic, tropical moment. Guava and passion fruit, strawberry, raspberry, apples and figs. The pleasures of Eden: truly, resistance is futile."

See, the fig thing just does me in :(

chocolate doesnt make a fig edible, but a bit of biscuit ( aka fig roll) does.

I haven't tried these yet goldencup, they sound nice though.

At christmas I got a box of thorntons for christmas, there was 2 layers of the same chocolates but one was dark and the other was milk. Thought that was a nice touch. One layer kept me happy and the other kept david happy.

I have to admit that I didn't eat the fig ones but others did and liked them.  All the ones I did eat were yummy.

Eden is my favourite box of chocs. Mainly because there is only one coffee choc per layer (most Thorntons boxes have all different kind of coffee ones, bleerrgh) and also there's a rather nice one with little lemony bits stuck on it. It tastes goooooood

I haven't had a box of Eden since last Autumn so they must have changed them, as I never saw a fig one before. Which makes me wonder which one they got rid of to put a fig one in ....

A woman I used to work with used to live solely on figs and doughnuts. She ate about 50 doughnuts a day. She reckoned the figs helped her with constipation. For some reason it didn't occur to her that 50 duffnuts a day was probably causing it...

She wasn't large actually, funnily enough, and that's all the more remarkable as her family are total lardbuckets, so it should be in her genes!
