Freddie Mercury, who was the lead singer and main songwriter of Queen,
died aged 45 from an Aids-related condition in 1991. He would have
turned 60 on 5 September 2006

I think Queen are one of the best british bands and there are lots of things to love about Freddie Mercury.  I saw a Queen tribute band once, they were fab and the "I want to break free" video was one of my favourites as a child though I find the song very sad now.  We used "Its a kind of magic" as the finale song for a school play a few years ago, the kids loved it.

I loved Queen and still play their albums a lot now. They made some really classic songs.

I love the one where he dresses up as a woman. The Americans apparently couldn't handle it and the song flopped over there.

i love Queen - imagine my utter disgust when those BASTARDS McFly covered and ruined their classic "don't stop me now"! grr! why did they gave to do that! it's so disrespectful!

it was worse than when rolf harris did "it's a kind of magic"!

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

McFly have done several awful covers now, as have Westlife and just about every other boy/girlband that ever existed.

It's a good video. I think Roger Taylor looked great as the schoolgirl!
