A new thread
« on: January 02, 2005, 01:29:32 pm »

Thought I'd start a new thread as everyone seems to be snapping at each other in current threads.

It's a New Year and despite its very sad start with all the tragedy in Asia it is still a new opportunity to renew oneself and one's objectives.

On a chocolate note, I have not seen any of the new Nestle products that were supposed to be around for Christmas - particularly the honeycomb bar. Has anyone else seen them? Neither have I seen a White Twix bar. Too late now of course. After today (when some good friends are coming over tonight for some nibbles and drinks) i am back to the old diet.

Have a great weekend everyone - hope you are all refreshed and ready to roll towards Easter! By the way - I saw NEW, fresh Easter stock in the shops on CHRISTMAS EVE!!! This was in Kwiksave and it inlcuded the new Smarties Cream Eggs, Mars Eggs, Cadbury Cream Eggs and Cadbury Mini Eggs!!!

Old but spicey!

Well done Oldspice - I've been almost avoiding posting for fear of offending somebody - I'm a sensitive soul!  Smarties Cream eggs sound tempting but I too am resuming my diet and have decided to just eat very small amounts of my favourite choc rather than pigging out on anything chocolate related.  With this in mind I actually gave away a box of cheap chocolate praline seashells as I decided after two that they were really not worth eating.  This was quite an achievement for me!

Oh, there's nothing wrong with a robust discussion between friends.  Anyway, yes it's a New Year and I'm hoping to get up to all sorts this year.  I will seek out new Chocolate and go boldly where no Bounty has been before.

Better ask Mick Jagger for some tips then.

Saw the Golden Crumble in WHSMith on New St Station yesterday - was tempted, but it just looks like a Crunchie. It's huge though.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
